Fourth Grade Concerts

The Fourth Grade Concerts are a substantial way in which the TSO partners with the Toledo Public School system, placing TSO in the opportune position of having a regular role in the curriculum of all children in Toledo Public Schools. These concerts introduce children to the instruments and music of the orchestra, as a means to excite and inspire fourth graders to take up an instrument in fifth grade.

BP-Husky Young People’s Concerts

Schools are hungry for arts experiences that support learning and encourage arts participation. Each year in Toledo, over 10,000 students have the opportunity to hear the TSO at a Young People’s Concert. Young People’s Concerts are available to public, private and home schools.

Showcase for the Arts

Showcase for the Arts is a program initiated by, and managed and coordinated exclusively by the Toledo Symphony League. It has become an annual arts program associated with the TSO for almost 30 years and is for elementary school teachers, students, and their families. The League considers this program one of their major activities and is enthusiastic about their interaction with the Toledo schools.
