You will also receive a CD of the nearly ALL the music! Electronic copies of previous booklets are available at your request. How do we reserve space? It's simple! How do we pay?Schools - pay in advance, use a purchase order system, or receive a bill before or after the concert. Homeschools - pay in advance with a credit card by calling Sandra at 419-418-0041, or check. All Checks made payable to Toledo Symphony And sent to: The Toledo Symphony When do we get our tickets? The Toledo Symphony spends about 5-6 times more money on producing these concerts than we bring in. It’s our way of helping to introduce young generations to the joys and thrills of orchestral music. So we strive to keep our costs low, and do that, in part, by not printing tickets. Instead we simply take your reservation; then check you in at the door the day of the concert. Simple! When will we be back in school?Of course, this will depend on how far your school is from the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle, but we can promise you that you will be back on your busses within 20 minutes after the ending of the concert. So if you attend the 9:45 a.m. concert, you and your students will be back on the bus no later than 10:50 a.m. If you attend the 11 a.m. concert, you will be back on the bus no later than 12:05 p.m. Where do the children enter the museum?Students and adults exiting busses will enter the museum at one of two entrances on the 'back' side of the complex - labeled Grove Place on your maps - OR from the main entrance on Monroe Street. It will depend on whether your bus is assigned a Grove Place or Monroe St. drop point. A detailed map will be included with your confirmation packet. On that map, parking will be noted, as will bus drop off/pick up routes and locations. Students and adults in cars should follow the directions for cars on the map. Where do the children re-board the busses? All students riding busses will exit the Peristyle at the invitation of the ushers and proceed to the back-side of the museum complex along Grove Place where the busses will be waiting. Those arriving in cars and vans should park in designated museum parking (noted well on the maps) and then return to your vehicles after the concert. Where do homeschool families and religious school vans and cars park? The parking areas are noted on the map included with each educational packet. For best flow of children in and out of the hall, parking in the TMA lot near the new Glass Building is best. Walk across Monroe St. (crossing signals are operable and easy) and enter through the Peristyle front entrance on Monroe Street. How do we get to the Toledo Museum of Art Peristyle?Maps will be included with your confirmation kits, which are sent 4-5 weeks before the concerts.
