July 4, 2017
Concert Time: 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Celebrate Independence Day with a patriotic concert by the Toledo Symphony Concert Band at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums.
The annual Independence Day Concert is from 2 to 3:30 p.m. July 4 on the lawn of the historic Hayes Home. Admission is free. Bring a chair or blanket for seating.
The Toledo Symphony Concert Band will perform a variety of songs on the veranda of the home. In a Fourth of July tradition, Civil War reenactors will punctuate the performance of the “1812 Overture” with cannon fire.
The concert is sponsored by Crown Battery with additional funding by Mosser Construction.
The Hayes Home and museum will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on July 4. The library will be closed for the holiday.
