Description:

Marvin Hamlisch, who touched the heart with A Chorus Line, The Way We Were, Ice Castles and more!

As a composer Hamlisch has won virtually every major award that exists: three Oscars, four Grammys, four Emmys, a Tony and three Golden Globe awards. Plus, his groundbreaking show, A CHORUS LINE, received a Pulitzer Prize. Mr. Hamlisch believes in the power of music to bring people together. "Music can make a difference. Music is truly an international language, and I hope to contribute by widening communication as much as I can."

Joining Mr. Hamlisch is J. Mark McVey, a tenor who made his Broadway debut in Les Miserables. Currently McVey is working on a show based on the Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, which is going to open on Broadway in the Fall of 2008. Mark is featured with Mr. Hamlisch and his music can be purchased on line at his website.
