Cello/Viola Lessons & Group Classes

Cello/Viola Private Lessons

Private lessons are offered in 30,45 and 60 minute lengths. Suzuki style lessons are great for ages 3-adult. Parents play an important role in the lessons and home practice. Lessons are taught at the Professional Building at 1838 Parkwood Avenue in Toledo. String students do not need to procure an instrument before lessons start. Brand new student? Fill out the registration form and return to the office to be placed with a teacher!

Cello/Viola Group Class

An important aspect of Suzuki lessons is the role of group classes. Click here for benefits of group class. Participation in group will make your private lesson time much more effective. Cello group is included in your TSSM private lesson tuition.

Cello Group (violists welcome!)
Mr. Aaron’s group class will be working on building ensemble skills and cello techniques with the Suzuki repertoire, as well as using additional music to enhance and complement the students’ level of playing. Students will also perform for each other, strengthening their performance skills with feedback and support from the class. All levels are welcome.

Instructor: Aaron Keaster
Class dates: 3rd Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. (no class in December)

All cello and viola students enrolled in private lessons are automatically enrolled in this class.

Tuition for non-TSSM students with Suzuki experience: $120
