Group Classes
Saturday
An important aspect of Suzuki lessons is the role of group classes and activities. Participation in group classes will make your private lesson time much more effective. Because we firmly believe in the importance of such activities, all TSSM private students are invited to participate in group classes at no additional charge!
Students* will be placed in two Saturday morning group classes that will meet fourteen times during the school year. In addition to an instrument specific group class, your child will take a mixed instrument musicianship class (music theory, history, etc.)
Students who attend ten or more instrument group classes will be invited to play at our end of the year performance, May 4th at the Huntington Center! Students will play in the concourse prior to the TSO Star Wars special event.
Students will be placed in appropriate classes based on age, level and ability.
*TSYO students: see below for information about your group class!
All students may attend Saturday morning group classes.
A special piano event is being planned for piano students in Book 2 and up.
