WGTE Presents: TSO in HD

Sundays at 6PM

The Symphony comes to you! Beginning Sunday, March 29 at 6PM, WGTE Presents: TSO in HD brings the magic of the concert hall to the comfort of your living room with weekly Toledo Symphony Orchestra (TSO) archival performances. Each show is hand-picked by Toledo Symphony Music Director, Alain Trudel, consisting of complete performances and collections of pieces brought together in new programs.

Formed in response to the cancellation of TSO performances due to the coronavirus outbreak, WGTE Presents: TSO in HD joins only a handful of television programs in the nation produced in partnership between a local media station and an orchestra. All archival performances were previously recorded by WGTE Public Media at the Toledo Museum of Art’s Peristyle Theater. WGTE FM91 Host and Program Manager Brad Cresswell hosts this exciting and collaborative new series every Sunday at 6PM.

Thank you to our series sponsors KeyBank and ProMedica for your continued support of our programs.

Sinfonia
Comfort Ye
Every Valley
And the Glory of the Lord
Thus Saith the Lord
But Who May Abide the Day of His Coming
And He Shall Purify
Behold A Virgin Shall Conceive
O Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion
The People that Walked in Darkness
For Unto Us a Child Is Born
Pifa
There Were Shepherds Abiding In the Field
And Lo, the Angel of the Lord Came Upon Them
And the Angel Said Unto Them
And Suddenly There Was With the Angel
Glory to God
Rejoice Greatly
Then Shall the Eyes
He Shall Feed His Flock
Come Unto Him
His Yoke is Easy

INTERMISSION

Behold the Lamb of God
He was Despised
Lift Up your Heads
Why do the Nations
Let Us Break Their Bonds Asunder
He That Dwelleth in Heaven
Thou Shalt Break Them
Hallelujah
I Know That My Redeemer Liveth
Since By Man Came Death
Behold, I Tell You a Mystery
The Trumpet Shall Sound
Worthy is the Lamb
Amen
