We are committed to the health and safety of our audiences, musicians, staff, and volunteers. As we navigate through these unprecedented times and take steps toward returning to the performance stage, we continue to abide by the guidelines and regulations set forth by the State of Ohio. Our artistic and administrative teams have been hard at work creating a plan that ensures the safest environment for all.
Through early February, nearly all of our performances will take place at the Toledo Museum of Art’s Peristyle Theater. Seating capacity will be significantly reduced to enable social distancing across the Peristyle’s spacious floor plan. For the time being, we will forgo intermissions to minimize foot traffic. Likewise, we will distribute program books and pre-concert lectures electronically before each performance.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We are implementing several measures to keep you safe at our performances. You can expect to see:
- Increased sanitizing of high touch surfaces.
- Touchless ticketing.
- Easy access to hand sanitizing stations.
- Enforcement of social distancing guidelines.
- Use of masks.
- Special audience routing throughout the Peristyle.
- Reduced seating capacity.
- No intermissions, until further notice.
While we will take every precaution to maintain a safe environment at our performances, we completely understand if you do not prefer to join us in-person. New this season, we are investing in a state-of-the-art, easy-to-use streaming platform, which brings most of our performances to your computer, phone, tablet, Apple TV, or Roku devices.
